Navarre Beach fishing rules

Postby KYHammer on April 16th, 2013, 11:19 pm

Ok Shark Hunters!
I just got a PM that shark fishing off Navarre Pier is banned. That really doesn't bother me, because fishing from the beach is where its at. Anybody fish this area that can fill me in on this. This is a once in a year trip and I am ready to catch some!

unless something changed in the last couple months its not banned. It was being fished hard all winter long, now the guys are on the beach due to cobia fishing crowds on the pier

Not sure. However, this message does say "day time." That doesn't mean it's banned. It means you can't do it until dark. We have that rule here in Panama City Beach. It kinda sucks, but I really don't mind. It kinda forces me to fish for kings and smacks during the daylight. This way I'm not a lump in a chair for 3 days until my big ray gets hit.
Something has to change. Undeniable dilemma. Boredom's not a burden anyone should bear.
Constant overstimulation numbs me, but I wouldn't want it any other way.--Tool
