I will say this...... The weekend was full of STRONG WINDS, RAIN, HEAVY CURRENTS, MORE RAIN AND STRONG WIND, BIG WAVES. There where a lot that I saw that could not get past the first bar. Those who did there baits would beat them back to the beach, so they would try to rerun baits again. Friday was everyone chance to get baits stuck and hope for the best.

You beat the odds joe, it crazy to think you beat steven by a .25 inch. That was the difference in 7,000 or 15,000. And after the lie detector test from the man of steel... Lol ... The president of Sharkathon handed you that check.

Awesome joe !!!!!!! You have payed your dues and have become one of the finest men and friend and a shark fisherman !!!!

Congratulations Joe !!!!

Joe, Congrats brother.

I think with every competition there is always haters chasing the WINNER. But with ought a doubt there inst one other person that deserves the trophy more than you. You battled the elements and SHARKED your hardest when most would relax and call it a day. I'm sure your son looks up to you now more than ever, and your definitely paving a great shark fishing history that he will grow into and carry on.

Tight lines to you.
